I don´t recomend you to use Arduiino or Raspberry. They are very slow (I test them for vehicle detection and tracking, 320x240 resolution). Please send me a message if you wanna work with me. Thanks

I have developed numerous storage software and developed automation framework based on python. Have good experience on Sikuli( opensource image recognition based library using java / Python). Also I have good experience on tesseract-ocr library. This project is good candidate for using Python opencv and sikuli. Python OpenCV can be used here to grab information from camera. Sikuli can be used to recognize roadside signboard from camera frame and Tesserect can be used to get integer from roadside signboard. -Jaimin

I have built a smart autonomous driving bot that assessed road signs (go slow, stop, school ahead and no entry) and also detecting signals. This was done first on Labview and later on Python OpenCV. I have worked on OpenCV for more than a year now, and recently published an amazing eyelid anomalies diagnosing software in collaboration with one of the Leading Eye institutes in India. I would love working on this job personally! I have also worked on arduino and can thus well understand what you would want when we discuss the system output.
