I maintained a weekly blog of my own for several months that had gained something of a following so I am familiar with blogging sites and software. I am also familiar with working on a deadline.
In my own life, I use a variety of holistic, natural approaches for maintaining health and wellness for my entire family. When my knee started giving me problems, I opted for exercise, weight loss, and diet changes to facilitate healing, instead of drugs and surgery. I also started using an herbal tea to help with pain and inflammation. Through various nutrition classes, I know that a great many common (and not-so-common) ailments can be prevented, or even cured, by appropriate changes in diet. I have developed a number of lifestyle and stress management techniques that help me keep my mental health strong. And, whenever a new problem arises, I dive into research to find the best holistic, natural solution to deal with it.
