We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer for the setup of a high availability Drupal 8 CMS website on AWS. Please find additional info and requirements below. Feel free to contact us if there are any questions. Please prepare an estimate along with: - recommended infrastructure - project cost - estimate of monthly infrastructure cost - estimated timeline - experience with similar projects - AWS certifications Application info: - PHP / Drupal 8 CMS website (based on docker and docker-compose, probably needs to be modified) - Database: MySQL or similar - Total size: a few hundred MB to max a few GB - Permanent storage of user uploaded files - Total size: 10GB to hundreds of GB - Search: Elasticsearch (minimal requirements, search is not a key feature) - Expected traffic: - 100000 - 200000 visits / month - 100s - 1000s visits / hour - no data on concurrent traffic or traffic peaks - geography: global, but majority from Europe - Domains: - one primary domain - dozens of additional domains that should redirect to the main domain or subpages of that domain - all domains need to work with and without www - SSL certificates needed for all domains - DNS managed externally at a provider that does not support ALIAS records Hosting needs: - Single region hosting in Europe - Global CDN - High availability - Load balancing and auto scaling - Application cache: Redis or similar - Daily backups of DB and files in separate availability zone with 7 days retention period - All infrastructure deployed with infrastructure-as-code approach - Production and staging environment (staging has low traffic) - VPC for secure access to manage infrastructure - Complete and detailed technical documentation of setup - Deployments: - zero downtime, rolling deployments - push to Bitbucket to deploy (deployment pipeline needs to be set up as part of project) - Managed services to be preferred whenever possible to simplify maintenance - Nice to have: centralized logging and monitoring solution Timeline: the go-live of the website is planned for October 20 and we need the infrastructure ready by October 12.
