Altruism is behaviour that is intended to help someone else without any prospect of personal reward for the helper. Research suggests that there may be relationship between altruistic behaviour and psychological wellbeing: doing things for others with no expectation of reward might make us feel happier (Post, 2005). There is also research that suggests that females may be more altruistic than males (Simmons & Emanuele, 2007). You can choose to write about one (1) of the following topics 1)Gender and Altruism: in which case you are interested in the data that compares the altruism means of males to the altruism mean of females. 2)Altruism and Happiness: in which case you are interested in the data that examines the relationship between the altruism scores and the happiness scores.
