create 1 home page design, elegant and clear

I would like to design the template for 1 page layout together with its GUI. This will be converted later to css & divs, no tables on the html code. So, this should be taken into account. I'm not looking for programmers, but web designers and graphic designers that can come up with a creative, simple but elegant way to visualize this page. I would need a creative designer who is aware of web 2.0 styles, css/div and has experience in playing with colors to get nice user interfaces. This page will be similar in concept to Yahoo Answers layout, but colors, gradients, style, navigation, options, colors, etc, have to be different to Yahoo's. Sites of reference for styles: [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL], bartelme.at. I've attached a quick mockup on the idea. The dimensions that you'll see on my mockup are not the final ones, I pasted from here and there, etc. We need to find the right colors and layout as well. The design/layout has to be very neat, similar to those I mention on the URLs above, with the correct navigation that I'll be adding below. We should play with three colors at www.edgeio.com. I like them a lot. We should have a sort of web 2.0/blog site look more or less. See these colors on the stars on the homepage: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] We should play with colors green, blue and orange on the main top navigation area on www.edgeio.com. We need to come up with the right borders of the content area, I don't want those diagonals lines as background, nor on the background of main links (ask, etc) as Yahoo Answers have. First of all, let's see navigation for this page. Take a look at png I attached. The links were a bit unorganized, but that is the idea. At the very top we need to have this navigation (I've pasted the navigation from [login to view URL], we need to have ours: - home, ask your questions, write travel journals, destinations, ideas, invite your friends At the bottom right: -welcome username, you are level, points - send us your feedback - select your language - sign out - my account - help Then the footer should have these options: * Privacy policy * Terms of service * Help * Contact us * Copyright in another line As Yahoo Answers, we need to have 3 main options: * ask * answer * discover [countryname] So, those are the three main navigation links that we should have throughout the site. We should also come up with a different way to show those three big options so that it does not look like a clone, and also come up with the 3 icons that represent ask, answer and discover countryname. The content area: We should take into account the data shown by these 3 headers for the tables that contain the questions/answers * Share what you know. Answer... * Discover something new about your country * Pick the best answer... These headers should stand out a bit more, they are important, the heart of the page. So we need to make something that matches that importance. We need to find the styles for the sidebars, search area (edgeio's looks good), showing categories, showing first 5 posts on each of the 3 sections. I don't want you to do the whole page, but I would like that you work on it a bit and show me what you'd do in order to make it look like I'm looking for, before I accept any bids.
