Female Chinese Vocalist & Translator Needed Hello -- please NOTE: *** The budget in this posting is a placeholder estimate for singer's fees. However, if you'd rather just take the singer piece and not translate the poems, no problem / vice versa. Singers can focus on what they do best and translation services should be able to assist. We can negotiate rates depending on how many songs you will record / translate and what you will do on each piece. Music is a collaborative medium and have no idea what you sound like or what yet you can or want to do. This project will be adding new parts as it evolves. Seeking Chinese Female Singer . . . Do you dream of changing music history? LOOKING for a talented, fun, charismatic lady singer to sing for 2-6 original songs in Mandarin. We are just finishing our first full length album and looking to arrange for videos and a tour. It would be nice if you could translate some English lyrics into Chinese. If you can interview in cities Singapore, Jakarta, Beijing, Shenzhen, Phuket or Bangkok that would be awesome! Me: I'm a songwriter/producer/music teacher. My style often revolves around psychedelic orchestrated guitars and live or collaged beats. Video multimedia components can be added. The dance songs are influenced by early German techno in the spirit of Georgio Moroder-Donna Summer, Can, Kraftwerk, Daft Punk, Neu, Velvet Underground, Die Antwoord, T-Rex, Abba, Dee-Lite and so on. It's fun and experimental however we are an altogether new thing . . . TIMELINES / LOCATIONS -- I'll be in Asia starting mid-December 2017 -- Roughly, I'll be in Singapore Dec 14-18, Jakarta Dec 19-28, Beijing Dec 28-Jan 10, Phuket and Bangkok Jan 14-29. Will come back to China in February. We can chat here or on WeChat, Skype etc - whatever works best! Recording: I work in Logic Audio 10, but if you don't that's ok. It'd be great if you have a digital audio workstation of some kind so I can email you instrumental mix files. After recording you will send me back .wav or .aif files of your vocal performances. However, if you don't have a DAW, but your voice and attitude serves the songs, I might be willing record your voice on location with my portable DAW, which comes with a great mic and excellent preamp.
