Software Engineer

We are seeking a Software Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for creating and modifying computer application software or specialized utility programs. Responsibilities: Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Work with project manager or product owner to meet specification needs. Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency. Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code. Create flowcharts and user guides for new and existing programs. Document all programming tasks and procedures. Perform routine software maintenance Job is remote Phoenix, Arizona Term is 3 months Thanks, Dr. Kunsman Development Outline: I always try to define current development and features that fit into the next Sprint. This way we do not code ourselves into a corner and must redesign (it happens more than you might think) the module because it needs additional features to execute other modules (Always defined in spec document for that module). I need a format for spec's. My current format includes [this is not all-inclusive list]: These modules requirements (e.g., what messaging requires). The design and layout Content for any combo boxes that don't already exist Configuration requirements in the admin section. ANY config requirements, or functionality required to continue development such as messaging sending a message to a medical assistant for a new medication order. This feature alone must have the following: Permissions Messaging recipient (outside the company requires HIPAA considerations, message security, etc.) Messaging reply when Status (a combo box) changes and message returned to sender with the new status [medication given]. Future Date messaging (lab due in 3 months) Report Labs ordered by date range, location, provider, test CPT code, etc. Certain orders require a physician and include in the order the Emp ID#, Physician Name, Credentials (MD), DEA number, DEA Exp Date, License State, Number, Exp Date, etc. And more... QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of Java, Python, .net core, SQL server, angular 2+, SynchFusion Deadline and detail-oriented Strong analytical and critical thinking skills LOCATION: Job is remote Phoenix, Arizona Term is 3 months TERM: Development is about 500 hr per software engineer, up to 3 engineers are needed. HIPAA: HIPAA compliance is an amendment to the agreement. WARRANTY: You must warrant your code for 90 days, and an agreed amount to remain in escrow during the 90-day warranty period. Additional functionality would not qualify as a warranty issue unless the functionality was omitted by the developer. SPRINTS: Spint bases compensation as follows: Sprints will be up to one week in length, shorter Sprints will be bundled Sprint development includes input from development team and all hours and functionality agreed upon prior to work on the Sprint. Changes in the Sprint due to unforeseen issues related to code will be reviewed on a case-by-case base and may change total development cost. If there are delays not related to the sprint, or agreed upon additional hours and/or functionality, then that would not result in changes to hours agreed upon. Completed Sprints are paid. Any scope creep is recognized and approved by Medico (along with the developer) and resolved with hours additional hours for additional functionality or moved to a new Sprint. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Work for hire, all IP is the property of Medico, unless it is a public domain product. Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA): NDA In forced during and after the project All code, documents and other material provide by Medico or developed during the project will be removed from the develops computers, and the developers acknowledge they will not use Medico IP in other development project unless specific permission is granted by Medico.
