I have been to ACM-ICPC Asia Regionals Kanpur site for two consecutive years and have done 4-5 projects in Java during my college. With such experience and fresh knowledge of Java and experience in C/C++,I think I am the best suited candidate for your job.

When I can see the complete problem, I will give you a fixed price bid with deliverable milestones for the complete project. I am assuming you have complete source, library source or at least equivalent library in target language, and there will be no new software required.

Not a big task if it is just one program. I have done the same as part of my job. Working in C since last 3.5 years. If the program is not a giant one then won't take much time.
