Hi, Custom theme for WordPress was never a very good idea, it's more so in current day and age. You can use any minimal theme and extent it using child theme, so main theme gets regular updates from it's author. I don't recommend correcting your custom theme, so I can import your customization and design to a new theme, we can select one easily. I will use child theme to provide the same functionality. Regarding payment gateway, which payment gateway is it? and is it needs to be installed in WooCommerce? Regarding popup. Okay, I will add one, Regarding Update DB on successful payment: need to know more details about this part.
