I am unable to turn off magic-quotes in PHP. I am on a Mac running XAMMP. I have PHP 7.2.2. I have the code below in my module: ————— <?php if(get_magic_quotes_runtime()) { print("magic quotes was on"); set_magic_quotes_runtime(false); } ?> ——————— “magic quotes was on” never prints. I have the following code in /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/etc/[login to view URL] - ———————— magic_quotes_gpc=Off magic_quotes_runtime=Off magic_quotes_sybase=Off ———————— I have the following code in /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/etc/.htaccess - ——————————— # htaccess php_value magic_quotes 0 php_flag magic_quotes off php_value magic_quotes_gpc 0 php_flag magic_quotes_gpc off ——————————— Payment upon successful resolution. Hello. It seems you have already turned off magic quotes as it returns false if magic_quotes_runtime is off, true otherwise. Therefore, it does not pass if condition since magic quotes are turned off.
