I need someone proficient with WordPress to take my attempt at building a blog site and turn it into a really good site that will be easy for me to administer. I am a writer and I have a profile on this site as a freelance writer and editor. But I'm not a website person. I am also my mother's 24/7 live-in caretaker, so my time is limited. I need a site that will have ads to allow for relatively passive income and designed so that I can add daily content that will attract followers. Please be prepared in either your response or follow up conversations with me to provide your experience and expertise through at least 3 examples of your work in the past 2 years, including contact information if I want to contact your clients for a reference. Fluent English speakers ONLY. You should be able to demonstrate your experience in designing successful blog posts that have good ad traffic. Provide any training or education you have in website design. Expertise in SEO optimization a plus. Since I've shared my site with you, in your response, tell me the first 3 things that you see wrong with the site and how you would recommend fixing them. I'm not looking for cut and paste responses. Please start your response to my project with the words I GET IT so I know you read the entire scope. A successful relationship may result in further site development. As I said, I am a freelancer, too, and I'd like to have my own site developed to further my business, including an eCommerce element.
