I have installed [login to view URL] glpi utility, I need to be able to get serial number pf my computer and status from glpi, then I will need to be able to upload text file back to the glpi for the server log. Hi I'm a Python coder with 12+ years experience From your description, you need a script that will contact the central server and get the main record for your machine. Once you have that, you have the ID for your machines record on the server which will then allow you to modify that record with text in the relevant text fields. Seems pretty straight forward with the exception of how does the main server know what machine is making the call. If that is no problem, then we can just use the requests library to make the relevant calls and create a script for you. 1-2 hours should cover this Marc Nealer
