Fixing Magento Email Problem

We need someone to fix a last problem in our Magento Shop (Magento Version 1.9.2.1). The first thing that I have to mention here and that the shop hosted on a specific linux server. The server is from a German hosting provider called '[login to view URL]'. The problem is that there is no cPanel or Plesk available. So you will have to connect to the server via SSH to edit specific settings. To the problem at hand: Our Magento store is not sending out Emails anymore. There are no checkout emails, signup emails or any other emails sent. We have tried multiple solutions to the problem but for some reason nothing seems to work. First point: We have the extension 'Ebizmarts_MageMonkey' installed to set up our Newsletter via Mailchimp. Maybe there is a compatibility error here and that is the reason for it not to work. Second point: There have been no edits to any of the html that is related to sending out emails. Unfortunately we can't tell a specific point in time when the shop stopped sending out emails. So the reason for this error could lay back a couple of weeks. Third point: This is our biggest headache. We read that Magento Version 1.9.2.1 needs cron to function to work completely. The big problem is that the cronjob on our server is not working. We have the extension AOE Scheduler installed, but when I check if any crontasks have been done, we get the error 'Last heartbeat is older than one hour. Please check your settings and your configuration!' The biggest problem here is that there is no interface in the server settings that allows the configuration or installment of cronjobs. So the only way to edit the cronjob or the crontable is via SSH (using Putty or similar software). We have found no other way to make any changes to cron other than via SSH! So it is mandatory that you know how to do this via SSH. Cron has never worked the whole time since we installed the store, but emails have been sent before. So we are not sure if the reason for the email problem is related to cron. What we like you to do in this project is: 1. Fix the Email problem so that emails are being sent again 2. Install a cronjob for the magento shop Please only bid on this project if you are sure you can communicate with a linux server via SSH and can edit the settings via command prompt, since there is no other way to install / change the cronjob.
