Hello,
I have read your project's description and done some research about how to trace websites and I am presenting to you what I think about this project.
You are looking for websites which get organic traffic but *are less than* 6 months old. This age variable is a littlenot straight forward, as it could be interpreted differently. Domains and websites are different things, for example, I could have an existing website with existing traffic, and redirect all my visitor to a new domain name in that case, my new domain will be " a new baby " but in reality, it is the son of my previous domain name. Even though the new domain was just bought few months ago, it does not make it " young ". Another problem is domains re-use, as you probably know, there a lot of dead domains, that could be bought at any point in time and used for blogs ( let's say ). When we try to track when the domain was first published, we might find it going back to ( say ) 5 years, where in reality, before 5 years it was inactive, and it just started its activity now.
To work these problems out we need to specify which are we looking for. Is it NEW ACTIVITY, or is it NEW EVER CREATED websites. The traffic tracking is an easier phase, there are available tools, but we can build our own. I would like to know your clarifications about these things, as I got very interested in this project, partially because I am also thinking of implementing something similar ( in a regional context) for my own benefit.
Thanks
