Ongoing work creating demos and improving websites

Hi all, To show our information retrieval system/search engine to potential customers, we frequently need to create demos. Furthermore, we must regularly improve the websites of existing customers (mainly museums). For this, we seek a coder or team with strong ASP, HTML, and graphical skills. Our program (see [login to view URL]) takes source data (databases, xml-files. etc.) and makes it searchable. The data can be retrieved by ASP in a way similar to ADO. The coder must know SQL and XML to configure the data-conversion (the conversion itself is performed by the indexer program). The main task will be to convert the template website to something that can be integrated in the existing websites of customers. Because the program requires some time to learn, we are looking for a longer term relationship. To start with, we are looking for someone who is available for, on average, 2 days per week for 3 months. Actual workload depends on our project deadlines. When satisfied, work may continue after that. Please state your hourly rate and include examples of previous work in your bid. If you need more info, please ask. On request, we will send the manual of the program that explains everything in detail. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
