I am seeking an illustrator who can bring a children’s book character to life. I am looking for someone who can create one or two draft test drawings/images/sketches to help me decide on the correct freelancer to use for a more extensive project. I need your input and skill in creating the character’s look and feel, based on a short brief of the storyline. The project value is low at this initial stage as I need to find the right person for the next job. I will be looking to hire two or three freelancers from this one project to find the right person for this ongoing scheme. Please provide samples of your work, (children’s book characters if possible) and prices per draft test drawing/image/sketch. If you can provide any further information which will help me make a choice, then please go ahead and make my selection process that much easier, thanks. Please quote the phrase “Amy the Anteater” in your bid proposal as an indication you have read the requirements of this first project correctly.
