Suggest/ locate freeware / cheap solutions for computer / network security

We are looking to secure our office network and computers. We are looking for advice / options for freeware/cheap software to achieve the following objectives. 1. Employee internet usage control / analysis - we need a solution that will monitor the internet usage and classify the browsing based on category of websites. Solution that provides a comprehensive report on internet usage. 2. Endpoint security : An application server that will monitor all computers and list the computers without appropriate patches for the OS and also the software installed. Will also check for updates on anti virus software. Must have encryption built in. 3. File Control : A software to track and notify movement of documents and files with defined extensions. Must include tracking upload of files via email.
