Sukulu Education project

My Project I am in the process of setting up a small sized business with the focus in producing: - Dustless chalk for the education sector - Eco friendly pencils made from recycled paper Because of the specificity of the Central Africa region where I will be trading with the production unit based in Cameroon, I have chosen a single brand name which will helps reduce communication cost and also, a name that reflects cultural realities: Sukulu Sukulu in one of the local language mean School. The idea here is to stay within that mindset of education and differentiate the brand with all imported ones which all end with (color) such as ‘’ROBERCOLOR’’ and others Because all product sold in the market are imported, I wanted a name that creates pride and sound local in order to remind the public that it is a local product. In doing so, I would like to create an emotional connection and branding with the solemn promise to be part of the education revolution Chalk will be made to be dustless with the same ingredients as all imported products. There will obviously be white ones and a variety of coloured ones Pencils will be essentially made from imported graphite and local recycled newspaper. But there will be as stronger as the wooden imported ones How are we intend to create and maintain the emotional connection and Branding? Sukulu intends to give back to the community through several initiatives: - The ‘’Rising writers’’ initiative which is a poem writing contest open to primary and secondary schools but in two different settings. The competition will be a national challenge and the 20 best pieces of work will be published as a reading book and the proceeds will help to equip needed school with basic items This competition will be held every year and prices will be given to 10 but only the winner gets a trophy we intend to be a representation of a book and a pencil (or any logo to be created which need to be distinct from the brand one) - The ‘’Golden Chalk’’ project which will be a trophy to be given out on yearly basis to the best Teacher of the 10 regions of the country, a way to revalorize the teachers’ sacrifices in building the future of the country (a distinct logo to be created as well) - The ‘’Maloko’’ project: Maloko in one of the local language means play. This is a play Centre which our Brand will be financing because children haven’t got such facilities in the country and where they are, fees aren’t for the common citizen As you can see, I am looking for 4 logos - 1 Main one for the Brand Sukulu - 1 for the ‘’Rising Writer’’ project - 1 for the ‘’Golden Chalk’’ project - 1 for ‘’Maloko’’ the Play Centre project My Email: magi_face2002@[login to view URL]
