Very interesting project! I've been interested in alternative voting systems since our last few Presidential Election cycles... and I firmly believe our current system is broken and needs to be repaired/replaced. I'd love to see how technology can be used to make this happen. I live in Somerville, MA, so I am located in the area. I'm a professional software engineer, just currently in between career jobs, so looking for something to supplement my income while I'm looking for my next career move. I'm familiar with all of the technologies specified in the project description, though I consider my strongest languages to be Java and Python. Happy to help influence software design and architecture if that is open, otherwise, also happy to conform to the existing requirements and design decisions.
