Deamon to Linux Read CAN BUS via Socket CAN and output Data via UDP -Read CAN ID’s via SocketCAN -Each can message contanins 4 x 2 Byte Values in BigEndian format -Decode the contents of the CAN ID and bring into User Readable format -Send a Ident String followed by the Value via UDP Datagram For Example Message ID 0x360 Bytes: Data Units (multiply –subtract add…) 0-1 RPM x1 2-3 MAP x0.1 4-5 TPS x.10 6-7 CoolP x.1 Message ID 0x361 Bytes: Data Units (multiply –subtract add…) 0-1 FuelP x0.1 2-3 OilP x0.1 4-5 AccPos x.10 6-7 WgP -273 The Deamon should listen to the CAN bus and decode each message and Broadcast the result via UDP. The broadcast needs to consist of a Identifier String followed by the Value Example Message ID 0x361 UDP Datagrams send UDP Datagram : “RPM”,3000 send UDP Datagram : “MAP”,100.3 send UDP Datagram : “TPS”,30.3 send UDP Datagram : “CoolP”,0.2 I the code needs to be written in C++ or C so it can be compiled and the source protected. I just need someone to write me a sample program with one or 2 CAN ID's so i understand how the code has to Look .

Dear Sir I have 10+ years of experfience in sockets and L2/L3 networking. I haven't used SocketCAN and thus interested to take up this work as its new learning for me.
