I am looking for an android application for a taxi driver supporting bookings. This will consist of the following: Http XML communication with a web server. We have already implemented an XML interface that will consist of importing a jar for dealing with objects directly Login page with server call for login Home page where the driver can update their status if they are available or not Job list to show the jobs that they have in order retrieved from a server call Job detail that will shoe full details of the booking and allow the driver to select pickup, drop off or rejection of jobs Maps to show the map of the job Background services to periodically send location to the server Background service to perioidically retrieve the latest jobs and display notifications The basics for this is already in place and within a maven build structure so it is mainly completion of this and ensuring robustness and styling.
