We write fiction books to teach Italian as a second language.

Formatting our books is taking too much time and we'd rather spend that time writing more books.

I am in need of a customised formatting SCRIPT/EXTENSION OR APP or solution that can automate formatting on Apple Pages/Numbers. The primary function of the script should be to automate formatting. I only need it to automate 1-3 different types of formatting.

WE DO NOT NEED SINGLE FORMATTING OF A BOOK.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

- Programming, Coding

- Strong experience in Apple Pages/Numbers scripting

- Familiarity with automating formatting

- Proficiency in AppleScript, JavaScript, or Google Apps Script

- Attention to detail and ability to follow project specifications closely

I've attached two files:

1. Text to Format - this is the initial text. Chapter by chapter it's a book with some words in bold.

2. Formatting - this is the result I want: each chapter has the words in bold on a page on the right all numbered with their translation. Each word in bold in the text is numbered accordingly as well and matching the vocabulary. At the end of each chapter is a brief summary in Italian (original language of the text) and English. Straight after 3 short multi choice questions for comprehension.

Priority is writing a script or finding a solution for us to extrapolate the words in bold quickly and number them both in the main text and in a separate column. This is what usually takes us most of the time and we'd rather spend it writing more books!

whoever gets the job done will receive all our 4 books already published and the next 2 in the making as ePub or Pdf ;-)
