I have a [login to view URL] file on my website, with some javascript code, hosted on my web server.

Within that javascript, I want to call a Python script. I read the way to do this is to turn the Python script into a CGI script, put it in the cgi-bin directory of my web server, and call it using AJAX.

I need someone who is able to create a simple CGI script, and show me code on how to call it from inside my [login to view URL] file.
