I am running a web Application with Django on a Compute Engine. This Application needs to be able to spawn new Virtual Machines on the Compute Engine from a snapshot.

I need a Python Script / Function which I can execute from Django which does that. Input would be:

Size of VM, Type of VM, ID of snapshot, zone. The Function should spawn the VM and return Name and IP of the VM.
