I'm looking for a skilled game developer to help me create an action-packed game for PC.

Key Project Details:

- Platform: The game will be specifically designed for PC, so experience in PC game development is a must.

- Genre: This project is aimed at creating an action game, so the ideal candidate should have a good understanding of creating fast-paced, engaging gameplay in this genre.

- Single-player: The game will be single-player only, so there's no need for multiplayer functionality.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

- Proven experience in developing games for PC.

- Prior projects in the field of action games would be a significant advantage.

- Strong creative and problem-solving skills to deliver a unique gaming experience.

Create a Java platfomer game from scratch(not using a game engine) that is similar to Mario in mechanics, sound, enemies(the amount of enemies should increase exponentially with each level), pause screen etc. It will also have 3-4 levels. The last level should be similar to a boss level game.

Pause and Resume Functionality:

Implement a toggle to pause and resume the game using a key press (like 'P'), which will stop the game timer and any media playback until resumed.

Collectibles and Power-Ups:

* Introduce collectible items or power-ups that the player can pick up for extra points, health boosts, or special abilities.

* Level Themes and Backgrounds:

* Design different themes for each level, including unique background images, enemy types, and music tracks to diversify the gameplay experience.

* Health System:

* Add a health system for the player, where health is reduced by enemy contacts and can be replenished by picking up health packs.

* Sound Effects for Actions:

* Implement different sound effects for various actions like jumping, collecting items, enemy collisions, and reaching the level end.

* High Score Tracking:

* Implement a high score system that saves the player’s highest scores and displays them at the end of each game session or in a dedicated menu.

* Multiple Enemy Types:

* Introduce various types of enemies with different behaviors (e.g., flying, patrolling, chasing) to increase the challenge.

* Obstacles and Traps:

* Design levels with various obstacles and traps (like spikes, pits, and moving platforms) that require careful navigation.

* End-of-Level Bosses:

* Include a boss enemy at the end of certain levels, which requires a special strategy to defeat.

* Player Progress Save and Load:

* Implement a feature to save the game progress and allow players to resume from where they left off.
