I have an amp meter device that take a battery pack IN and OUT to ebike controller.

* The device was developed by a freelancer from here

The device monitors volts, amps, amp hours, watts...

I would like to add an option to set the number of max amp through the screen and that the device will limit the power coming from the battery to that amount.

For example:

The battery is capable of providing 80A and the ebike controller is drawing 120A then I want to set the device to limit to 80A so when I pull full throttle that it will only go up to 80A max but without cutting the power.

I don't want it to act like a BMS that when max amps are reached that it will cut the power, I just want it to limit the max current going out of the battery.
