we require a working FlightGear source code instance with all components of the most recent stable version which we can modify and then compile, build and run in Windows Environment with an additional data output streaming.

The Job includes two milestones:

1. Guided installation and build of FlightGear full source code on our 2 Windows Laptops, up to the stage we can compile the source code into a working instance of FlightGear simulator with all its features like in the recent distributed version FlightGear 2019.1.1.

2. A data logging feature to be added to the code, with output to CSV/JSON file and stream to another running app. Should include all joystick, mouse and keyboard events proceeded by the game along with flight parameters that are available (position, orientation velocities, etc) and aircraft controls (engines, gear, etc). All saved and streamed data should have consistent timestamps. Parameters list is available here: [login to view URL]

FlightGear is open-source flight simulator written in C++ developed by a large community, details on project and git sources are available at the official site: [login to view URL]

Ideally, we are looking for a freelancer or agency who has previous experience with FlightGear or other flight simulators development.

A successful candidate may get a bigger follow-up project for additional FlightGear modification.
