I have a windows 2003 server with 2 network cards. one network card is connected to access as a public IP other as Internal IP . So i want to make sure that my server is secure and no one can access my other server which are in local IP range .

I just need to use FTP and Mysql ports on this server.

If u are good at Windows and networking bid for it . do not waste my time by posting regular pre written messages .

explain urselves how you gonna do it .

So you need to close all other ports and open only FTP and MySQL ports on that server ? Can be done quite easily.

Just needed to close all port except for mysql & ftp. And then make sure that the mysql & ftp bind to all network card, not just one. BTW, are you sure that you want to use windows 2003 server only for ftp & mysql. Zaidi

Close all ports in you server except ftp & other ports .So you give a chance to do this one definitely i will do it.

I m a systems engineer at your service...You just want to do a port scan first. It can easily be done using a software like (pm me for details)or by checking the registry. Then you can class all the ports except ones n Zaidi
