Hi I am looking on an ongoing basis for a person (s) to source interesting video and clips for my YouTube compilations Channel. The job will involve sourcing clips from the internet, finding out who owns the clip, whether it has to be licensed or permission has to be granted for use and who needs to be contacted about this, etc, etc.
I am looking to make enough interesting clips (up to 20-30 seconds) to make an 8-10 minute video in a compilation, twice a week, every week.
So you must have good research skills on the internet, have an eye for unusual, interesting videos, and be very social media savvy to find the best clips for the Channel's audience. You must also be able to monitor what other channels in the same niche are doing too (a list of these can be supplied or you can suggest your own too).
Once videos of any length have been found, you must then suggest exactly where the edit cuts have to be made in that video. For instance, if the video is 5 minutes in length, which 20-30 seconds of the video will be the most interesting, so that they can be sent to the editor.
The channel is governed by YouTube's family friendly policy, so no violence, humiliation, discriminative or x rated related clips, etc, etc can be accepted.
This job can be performed in any time zone and is a regular twice weekly gig for the right person.
