We are seeking an experienced Manual QA Tester to join our team as a long-term remote contributor. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of our mobile and web applications. As a QA Tester, you will play an ongoing role in identifying and addressing issues, conducting comprehensive testing, and maintaining a seamless user experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Execute manual testing processes to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues in our mobile and web applications.
- Create and execute test cases and test plans based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure issues are reported accurately and resolved promptly.
- Document and track defects, test results, and testing progress.
- Conduct regression testing to validate bug fixes and enhancements.
- Perform compatibility testing on various devices and browsers.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the overall quality of our applications.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and testing methodologies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and software testing tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of mobile and web application development processes.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
