I want to develop a project and i need someone to assist with the architecture.

there will be allot of devices which uploads data to a server using post/get.

the data will be stored in an MySQL server.

There will be around 5-10M posts/get per day.

my problem is:

1. Storage calculating for the DB, and which server should i use ?

Dedicated, VPS, Amazon etc...

2. which architect should i use ?

maybe MySQL is not the proffered way.

please,

only someone with experience in designing systems which intends to work with 1M requests and above.
