Fix php form - send to email and database

We have a php form on a site which is supposed to:
send an email to the submitter so they can accept the advert listing
if they do not reply to the request after 24hrs a reminder is sent
if they still do not reply a further reminder is sent another 24hrs later
when the advert is agreed the advert is set as active on the database and an email sent to the site administrator
We had the site working fine on the development server but now its moved to the live site its not sending out the notification email - data is being added to the database correctly.
We will give ftp and database access details to the live site and the development site (if required). Please note we do NOT want this re-written!

It sounds like the emailing portion of the code is not working correctly. This could be due to configuration issues which is most likely the case between development environments and production. I will first writ Zaidi
