Web application

We are a mid sized advertising firm in the process of expanding our business by offering our clients internet services. Our primary objective at this point is to offer our clients a web building application to help aid them in updating and adding to their respective web pages. This web building software would essentially allow the user to modify image and text content (such as events, news, recent projects and any other text content on the site). This application must include features such as a customizable internal website search engine, forms handling, as well as user login/password security features. The search engine should be able to handle complex indexing and caching from keywords to paragraphs. It must support boolean operators as well as proximity searches. Forms handling would ideally support multiple user inputs and categorize the information into a database. For the administrators, this information could be retrieved/manipulated via email or a self-generated HTML spreadsheet. The users can also customize the forms by some online builder. User logins and passwords must be well protected. This software, hopefully has some form of self-protection features that can prevent phishing and hacking. This software must also be able to self-backup all the information to a secondary hosting location every once in a while, which is customizable by the administrators.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
