Module A to Z (retrieve K2 Content)
This module must retrieve items from the selected categories (configured in admin).
It must use a language file, so I can use it in multi-lingual websites, and also be able to use a template override.
It must display the module title, and the letters A to Z.
Letters that don’t have any items must be greyed out and non-clickable.
If I click a letter, it will display a list of K2 items that start with that letter, and the selected letter must turn red on the A to Z list.
The items in the list must be clickable, and it should go to the K2 item clicked.
When accessing a page that have this module, but that page is outside of the categories chosen in config, below the line we must have a text “please, select a letter to view the team members”.
When accessing a page that have this module, and the page is within the categories chosen in config, the list must display with the corresponding letter selected. Example: if I navigate to “Alessandra Zequi” page (which is inside the category configured on this module), the letter A must be selected, and the results displayed.
This checking must be done each time a page with this module is accessed, because people can reach the pages with this module from anywhere (from the home page, from google, etc.), so each time a page with this module is accessed, it must check if it is within the categories (then highlight the corresponding letter), or outside the categories (so it will display the text “please, select a letter to view the team members.
If you have a better solution (like some database field to hold the info, instead of checking every time), that can decrease processing needs, you can propose it.
