I need a site just like [url removed, login to view] (with pretty much the exact same features) but for audio instead of video. For the design I would like the interface similar to [url removed, login to view]'s, and a similar glossy design except something a little more attractive and professional with a side column, and a header like [url removed, login to view]'s header. The design should also reflect the audio theme. A good looking front page, and full site control in admin backend is also a must.
Instead of a rating system, the site will have a ranking system where once a day you can vote to move the rank of an audio up one or down one. When someone votes the rank of the audio will change respectively. Also, on browse and search results pages there should be a preview button where you can hear a short preview clip of the sound. There should also be an option to make sounds downloadable or not.
An attractive, integrated, and original flash audio player should be used with something like a Windows Media player style animation. So you must have experience with flash in order to do this project.
The site should have a simple audio recorder/editor on it. The site also needs something like youtube's groups/community. When you make comments/post responses on threads there should also be the option to post an audio response.
The main parts of the site will be Stations, People, Charts, and Sounds. The Sounds will be just a general listings of the audio, organized by category. Stations will be just like channels. People will be just like [url removed, login to view]'s People with an admin option to create member types (eg rapper, musician ect.). And charts will be a page where sounds are organized by their rank, with options to change the rank time period, and filters for ranking just for certain categories ect.
The site should support midi's and mp3's, other uploaded types of files will need to be converted to the supported format. If its possible I would also need a simple onsite audio recorder and editor.
You will have until the end of August for the project as long as it is actively being worked on.
All the coding for this project must be custom made/made from scratch. No turn-keys/modified scripts.
