Transition of mobile networks to IPv6

**REQUIRED to WRITE A REPORT** Presenting an overview of TCP/IP and the internet, a review of IPv4 and IPv6. Give details of the differences in the two protocols and the advantages and disadvantages of each. Provide a case as to wether or not IPv6 shoud be used for future 4G radio Networks.

As a guide the report should be about 5000 words and shoud make reference to:

TCP/IP and the layered protocol. briefly descibing the protocols in each layer.

The Internet architecture.

A more detailed description of IPv4 and IPv6 including advantages and disadvantages of each, with respect to radio access (mobile access).

A discussion about wether IPv6 should be used for 4G Networks. (most important part of the report)

There should also be a conclusion in the end a brief discussion of applications of the topic covered.

**REFERENCES and BIBLOGRAPHY is VERY IMPORTANT.

Ideally a formal report should be capable of publication in a respectable technical journal.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
