CF Tag Cloud module

This is a ColdFusion project requiring previous ColdFusion and MSSQL2000 experience.

The project will help create a "Tag Cloud" ColdFusion application.

An example of a tag cloud can be found at the bottom of this page:

It lists out the most commonly used phrases in a given set

of articles or postings. The more

often a certain word is mentioned, the larger font is used

to show that word in the cloud.

For our project, the Tag Cloud function will:

* use use words from articles within our MSSQL2000 database

(which we will provide).

* use available lists of common words (filter words) like

"the", "a" etc to remove those from the results

The Admin screen for the webmaster will:

* create a cloud for a particular department's worth of articles or

all articles in all departments. This will be chosen from a drop down list.

* allow the ability to add "filter words" to the Tag Cloud so that certain common

or banned words are removed from the tag clouds.

After the admin chooses which department(s) to create the tag for, the module will

then create a CF tag for them to copy and paste where they want the tag to appear.

The tag which is created by the module will appear similar to:

(if a tag cloud for dept 15 was chosen to be created)

or

(if a tag cloud for all departments was chosen etc)

We will provide a sample of one of our other admin screens so that the tag cloud

admin screen can appear similarly formatted.

We would like this project done within 14 days if possible.
