**Synopsis
Convert current HTML5/Jquery "Flip Book" to a responsive mobile layout. Split common page designs into an html template which we can populate, and load dynamically through AJAX. Layout will define how the API initializes its content though a single "init" Object. Documentation on the API is minimal. Javascript Objects, and the methods/properties, will be a requirement upon hiring.
**Details
This Job requires proficiency in CSS3. You'll be working with, or on, responsive layout design(Bootstrap/Grid), element positioning, and turning in-line content styles to classes/ids. You will have a strong understanding of Javascript/JQuery APIs, as well as Objects/Methods, and hopefully previous catalog experience(ex. [url removed, login to view] - a free page flipping animation API). You will also be creating a few custom html templates from the unique layout of all the pages. These templates need to be requested through Ajax, and then populated through passed variables to display the correct page.
*API/*Structure - The current API is built on Javascript/Jquery and builds an online book with animation in full HTML5 and CSS3. We need a front end Developer to use this API to make our layout and catalog more user friendly. Possibly using event handlers on the Main Functionality of the API ('OnPageLoad', 'OnPageFlip', 'BeforePageLoad' etc). The online documentation for this API is vague, and having a solid understanding of Objects/Methods/Properties and Events is required.
*Layout/*Design - The layout should be responsive/designed for the device(s). The layout will define how the API structures and enables/disables API functionality. You will also be changing the design to match the layout. Configure content, design flaws, add icons, or change text format may be required. The API utilizes CSS3 animation, vendor-prefixes, and meta tags.
*AJAX/*Content - The content for each page is displayed by linking each "page" container to an .html file. You'll be parsing the content pages, and consolidating them into templates. Though there are ~550 separate pages, the content follows basic layout and style patterns. For unique patterns you will build a template. This should be able to load the content dynamically before it is displayed. (This can be discussed in detail if hired)
