I have an apache web server running ubuntu edgy 6.10 server edition. I am using it as a mail server, dns server,, and web server for several websites. It is a dedicated IP.

I use outlook on my windows computers to check my email and lately I have been getting my emails sometimes 10-12 hours late. It says they should have arrived at 12:15 for example but instead arrive at 9pm. As my business is mostly email based, this is a problem.

I am looking for someone to shed some light on this. If it is in fact a fixable issue with my server then I would think a general mail cleanup is necessary. If this is an ISP problem then please let me know so that I can investigate with them.

I have also noticed an overwhelming amount of incoming spam and I think that my server may have been hijacked for use by spammers. I have spamassassin marking emails as spam but not scoring or deleting them. This is also something I would be interested in.

Please PM me with a little info on how you would fix this. I know enough about computers that the right person with the right expertise could probably do this in an hour.
