Chrome NPAPI plugin - repost

Chrome browser plugin required to launch a local application on the users machine (Windows).

The plugin should provide a way to launch the application with command line arguments

e.g:

[url removed, login to view]("C:\foldername\[url removed, login to view] arg1 arg2");

We currently use the "ActiveX for chrome" extension to achieve this, however the extension displays a popup several times a day to confirm the users permission to run. We need a similar extension which will only request the users permission once per site.

This is only required to work with Chrome on Windows. However at a later date there is potential to reproduce this for other browsers. Therefore we request that the code be built using Firebreath or similar technology
