Network installer engineer

The position is based in Germany and the main responsability will be working througout the country coordinating the installations and in continuous interaccion with the client. In particular:

• Creation of standard deployment documentation for the configuration, service and support of all CMTS devices necessary for the delivery of all DOCSIS based Residential/Business Class data and digital video products and services.

• Implement, validate and document new CMTS connections for proper configuration and performance.

• Access connections for proper configuration and performance.

• Develop and maintain accurate documentation detailing the standards and configuration and operational practices for all CMTS devices.

• Follow Engineering design life cycle with proper documentation handoff to operations groups ensuring that all detailed designs adhere to established network standards.

It is mandatory a high level of German and English or Spanish to communicate, read information and speak fluently.

The profile requires:

Experience on cabling for fiber, Ethernet, RF installation and also Operating System administration.

Knowledge on CMTS, make some configuration changes, support during the migration process and deal with the Project Leaders.

Capability to understand technical documentation, installation diagrams.

Travel availability

Willing to work in Germany

Minimum requirements:

Physical installation servers STBs, etc.

Knowledge on IP Networking – DOCSIS 1.0 and DOCSIS 3.0.

Knowledge on CMTS monitoring/operation routing technologies.

Well organized for high quality performances and excellent customer service skills.

Desirable full driving license to drive in Germany.

Self-motivated person with the ability to work both independently and in conjunction with

other team members.

Autonomous, excellent communication and problem solving skills.

Recognized fibre training accreditation.
