I need to build a windows raid software that allows RAID across mapped samba drives. For example: 4 pcs on a network with 1tb harddrives. Each HD has 850gig partition that RAID will combine as one drive available to the network (850gig*4=3.4gig network drive).

Hello! My questiona is: -) Do you have 1gbit network? -) SAMBA mapped drives what devices ar the backed of it? maybe iSCSI will be better? -) Such task usually solved by CephFS. Can you us it?
