In truth, I have...My name is Saidi. I am an artist. Two facts I dare say you are already acquainted with at this point. Initially, I pursued the path of a civil engineer; however, upon reflection, I concluded that it was not my destined vocation. Hence, I gracefully transitioned into the illustration profession. In truth, I have forever been inclined towards such pursuits. Like many artists, I have been drawing since the earliest recollections of my existence. As my comprehension of the world expanded, so too did the breadth of subjects captured within my art. I love doing meaningful work, and being useful. I also have an ever-expanding awareness of the role that stories play in our lives. As such, I would like to weave my own thread in this rich fabric of human culture and our shared fascination with stories, by using illustrations as an aid to the imagination—that very faculty that imbues life with purpose and significance. In essence, my aspiration lies in collaborating with people who would like to use illustrations as a conduit for creative expression. Born on 14th September, 1999 Cris developed an interest in art at a tender age, but he never knew that art will end to becoming his career someday untill his mom...Christopher Tikhala Eddie Taulo, professionally known as Cris Taulo, Is a Malawian Contemporary pop Visual artist and Entrepreneur based in Blantyre, Malawi. Born on 14th September, 1999 Cris developed an interest in art at a tender age, but he never knew that art will end to becoming his career someday untill his mom passed in 2015 and was forced to stop school for a while, life become hard for him, So at the age of 14 Cris started his journey into the art world to relief him from grief and hoping it will change his standard of living someday, and eventually his was drewn and got more insterented in doing art more his studies because he thought it was the one thing he was good at and no could compare his this talent with anyone, Cris started to get more serious with his art and ventured to meet different local professional artists to help with his talent and teach him more about the art industry. Peter Masina one of the artist who have contributed alot to his art career currently working at the National Museum of Cultural Heritage and Natural Resources in Blantyre, recognized his talent and passion for art and took him for art training to deepen and sharp his knowledge about art, Cris start to pursue his art career as a professional in 2019 and has been practicing art ever since with a focus on making photo realistic illusion drawings with Pens. Makers and Inks. His art covers a feature of fiction, fantasy and futurism with a touch of line effects add on to his art. Furthermore Cris has also had a chance to receive formal art training at the University of Malawi, Chancellor College where he aquired a certificate of painting and drawing, digital marketing and Entrepreneurship under the SULA professional development training platform. Cris is professionally know for drawing using pens, inks and makers and also does acrylics and watercolor painting with same craft as some of his minor medium. His artworks have inspired alot of people including friend and family some of which he has also mentored and trained. Through his love of Art, Photography and Cinematography the artist started a company called ART MASTERS, a digital media production service provider and manufacturing company, established on 7 July 2021the company aims to become one of the most notable brands in the malawian art entertainment sector with hope to develop and expose upcoming artists and help them become self reliant. Throughout his on going art career. Cris has sold his work and done commissions for both local and international clients and has exhibited his work at Jacaranda Cultural Center, Art in The Park, Zomba City Festival and Kaza kitchen, He is also considered to be one of the fast developing young artists in as far as Malawian art in concerned with different awards and accomplishments including winning first place in a painting competition kidogo
