This also means that I...* What can I offer * - Analysis and problem solving: I am passionate about (especially societal relevant) challenges, digging deeper into these topics, understanding the real problem behind them and working out solutions. - Thoroughness: Give me a topic and I will work on it until it is solved. This also means that I am not a person for quick solutions, as I like to think everything through and choose the best way (to my knowledge). - Openness and reason: Even though I am critical, I embrace new ideas as long as someone can explain the reasons and thought processes behind them to me. - IT skills: IT is a vast and complex domain. I have had the pleasure to learn about it in an IT-focused school, at the Technical University of Vienna, on the job and in my free time. I am far from knowing everything, but I have a good foundation for getting familiar with new topics in this field. - Usage centred: I truly believe that technology is the key to overcoming profound issues. Therefore, it is important to make things efficient and easy to use. - Constant learning: I am constantly reading and educating myself in various topics that pop up in the quest for a better functioning society and organisation. This also included teaching myself French (with the help of friends) which introduced me to new perspectives and discourses. - Equality: I treat other people with respect and want to be treated in the same way, regardless of social or hierarchical status. This includes basic courtesies such as gendering and communicating on an equal basis. - Transparency: Trust is very important to me. Transparency is an honest way to gain it. - Predominantly home office: Communication and interaction are crucial to the success of a project. On the one hand, I can work best in a quiet environment (which is difficult in an office), on the other hand, I am still young and would like to see more of our beautiful world. So after getting familiar with the stakeholders in person, I want to work most of the time remotely and occasionally meet people in the office. - Maximum 30 hours paid labour a week: In my free time I work on my own unpaid project, which is quite ambitious and involves a lot of work. Like any other project, I take it seriously and would therefore like to pursue it more intensively than before. As a byproduct, I can reuse the knowledge I have acquired on the job. * What I cannot offer * - Blindly executing orders: I need to know why I am doing something and how it contributes to achieving a greater goal. - Dressing up: I take no interest in appearances and prefer to wear comfortable clothes while working. - Selling products: I am an honest person and will always point out the strengths and weaknesses without covering them up. So do not make me sell something I do not believe in - it does not work. - Spontaneous tasks: If there is something that needs to be tackled immediately, I will not let you down.
