I would like to redesign the logo for my personal non profit blog about radio controlled airplanes and sailboats.
The site is not online yet; I tried my hand at designing a logo but I'm not a designer and the results were very poor...
The name of the site is AeroVelaRC.it (Aero stands for airplanes, vela is the italian for sail and RC stands for radio controlled).
The blog slogan is "wings & sails".
I would like a simple/minimal logo recalling both airplanes/wings and sailboats/sails or air/water. Since the site will host drawings/plans for free download, maybe also the concept of pencil draft/technical drawing could be inserted in some way in the logo.
The colors are blue, gray and a bit of orange; attached a screenshot of the site.
