Maelezo ya Shindano

This is a picture from a recent band promo shoot. I really like how the three of us look here, and the concept was fun enough, but the color and style of those curtains and the background isn’t great. So you could remove everything and put us in some completely different context, or change the drapes and background, or maybe do some other creative thing. Also please touch up the tone/brightness/contrast, etc. But make the picture different than it is in some way(s).

Whatever you do, do NOT include licensed materials like Disney, DC, Squid Game, etc. I can’t use anything with licensed imagery included. And keep in mind that we are a kids/family music band, though we are irreverent and rock ‘n’ roll, so we don’t want anything that is more baby/toddler focused. But also not something that would be X-rated or include guns or drugs or stuff like that.

If you win, I would appreciate the PSD file to be included with your turnover, as sometimes we need to make small tweaks for including things like this on promo posters or whatever.

Quick turnaround on this one. I will rate and try to comment on every entry. (Note that I don’t award 5 stars until I pick the winner, so 3-4 stars is good and in consideration.) Looking for overall quality of the image, and creativity of what you do. Have fun!

      If you hadn’t removed your entries, I could tell you more specifically why they got 2 stars. I didn’t have time to comment on every entry, especially the past day or so. But I guarantee you that your entries were considered fairly compared to everything else. It’s very bad form for you to assume otherwise and to complain, just because your work didn’t win or wasn’t higher rated.

    Not seeing any of the initial entries that are making the image *different.* I’m looking for a creative entry that changes the context or replaces the curtains with some other thing. Merely touching up the picture or putting it in a frame is not nearly enough.
