I need a logo created for my new business. The business name is Tux Signs.

The 'Tux' portion should be a logo that can also be used on its own, and the Signs should just be styled text.

The colors are:

#474787 purple.

This is the main color for the brand. I suggest using it for the 'Signs' text, but up to you.

#34ACE0 light blue.
#33D9B2 teal.
#FFB142 orange.
#FF5252 red.
#A1A7B3 gray.

These are the secondary brand colors. Suggest using some combination of these for the 'Tux' logo. The gray is usually used as a background color.

The business is in the signage industry, so I am looking for something that looks professional, but still quite striking and impressive. For the 'Tux' portion, I like the idea of incorporating the image of a tuxedo in some way, as this both gives the impression of professionalism, and makes the name easy to remember because it is associated with an image (even though the business has nothing to do with tuxedos). I've attached a few images as examples. It seems like using the 'U' is the best way to go about this. Although the attached examples are mostly black and white, my logo should be colorful and stand out.

The deliverables should be one image with the logo and text laid out horizontally, one with the logo by itself, and one with the logo above the text. The same 3 should also be provided on the gray background color, making 6 images total.

Some of the ideas that are appealing to me out of the current submissions are: When the 'Signs' part of the logo is given a bit more priority - i.e. it is not a really small secondary element but has a bit more significance, I think it is better. The dimensional letters especially for the logos seems to work well because they look like channel letter signs. Other designs that incorporate a type of signage like a light box also look nice!
