I need 3 patterns.

We'll be designing some patterns that can be used to print on mugs and coasters.

First of all the size of the design should be 2:1 (2heights=1length)

This will be stylised with modern influence - Latvian folklore design.

I have attached few examples of patterns, but these should be just used as a reference to how Latvian folklore patterns look like. We need a modern one, which is more colourful, interesting, surprising. But it can't be mistaken by a different culture design. By the first look it has to be clear that this is a Latvian folklore pattern. To achieve this it might be a good Idea to use the base colour of Latvian flag - dark red. (google - Latvian flag) (cmyk Cyan=25% Magenta=100% Yellow=77% Black=20%) Pantone: 201C

Designs can be inspired by provided images but not copied. Except for signs- these can be used as you wish.

Also feel free to google for Latvian signs, Latvian patterns, Latvian folklore etc....

Use your imagination and feel free to experiment. You can provide sketches and as soon as I have a feeling that we might get some work done, I'll #guarantee immediately!
