Airplane Cottage School is a non-profit preschool that provides no-cost childcare for Black and Indigenous children ages 2-6.

The name Airplane Cottage School is a play on the French term, En plein air, which for our purposes roughly translates to a preference to being outdoors.

(En plein air is the act of painting outdoors. This method contrasts with studio painting or academic rules that might create a predetermined look.)

We would like to emphasize our relationship with nature and the outdoors, as well as our radical, even revolutionary mission. Please look over our website to familiarize yourself with our mission.

We do not have a specific color scheme in mind at this time.

Small point of clarification, this business has nothing to do with airplanes. Remember, the airplane in the name is a play on words with a French term which essentially represents a preference to being outside, in this case, rather than a traditional classroom. If you're going to use an airplane in your submission, perhaps try a paper airplane.
