Maelezo ya Shindano
The Derwent Remediation project is a environmental remediation project related to safely removing heavy metals from river sediments and we need to develop a brand logo that is unique and easily recognizable.
Late last year the Derwent Seastar was declared extinct in the Derwent estuary, so we would like to base our logo on this creature. See photos of the Derwent Seastar below.
Please add a small TM (trademark) logo somewhere in the design.
The logo will be printed on promo material like calico shopping bags, t-shirts, USB drives, cups, etc., as well as electronic and print media. It may well be embroided on clothing, etc. Please provide in a vector (eps) as well as the standard range of formats.
Good luck to all who enter...may the games begin...
UPDATE - a couple of points based on entries so far (thanks to all that have submitted)
- The starfish in the logo needs to look like the Derwent River Seastar as per the graphics below (I deleted one pic to make it easier)...not just any old starfish or a star in the sky.
- the text can either say "Derwent Remediation" or Derwent Remediation Project"...(no "the" at the front)...a variation on both would be good
- make sure you add the "TM" image (for trademark)
